Welcome to LCARS! We hope you will contribute much and well. You will probably want to read the help pages. Again, welcome and have fun! Donald 15:18, 2 July 2012 (MDT)

No need to delete pips that can be used. You just need to set preferences in each one as to where they came from. We do have permission to use them, but to give credit as per the CC. I informed Kuro to update so that they'd be easier to be used on wikis for the simulations. However, his current disclaimer and private policy, gives use usage. So we don't have to go hunting up "fair use" pictures that could look worse than those from Kuro (the ones that basically all simulations and groups use). Thanks! Ariyen 11:07, 8 July 2012 (MDT)

Also, I maintain many wikis to know about what can be used and can't be used and the limitations, etc. I'd rather you revert yourself, before I do and redo them correctly. Trekops did the right thing in uploading as they did and giving credit to being from Kuro as asked by the site. The new "pips" you are uploading are from the same site and not really "fair use". Just thought I'd mention this. :-) Ariyen 11:13, 8 July 2012 (MDT)

Not to mention... that the new images seem to make things worse, such as scrolling, etc. Hence, I really personally prefer the older images. I cannot resize an image to look good in/on a page without distortion, where as I could do that with the older ones... To me, it's not just about usage, but style of a page. You don't want to cause too much scrolling without issues as it can cause more kb and with more kb... Older computers and new ones can have a harder time or take longer to load up images, etc. I had to let this one site to upload all the images on ranks, far worse than I've had to do galleries on other wikis.
